Interface Design
A lot of people who are technical enough to make websites and software are somewhat enamored of technology. This leads to a lot of interfaces that only people who adore computers will be comfortable with. At Grove Street we just want the info with a minimal of fuss.
When the info in question is brand emmersion then eye candy is fine, the eye candy IS the content. Sadly it's very frequent that there is confusion within organisations as to what the information users want to see.

Animation
We do most of our animations in either Flash or After Effects, occiasionally dipping our toes into Cinema4D. The ability to produce broadcast calibre video effects can add impressive level of quality when it's embedded into interactive websites, or as a stand alone web video.
